Realizing the Kenyan Dream

I am a father, husband, peacebuilder, diplomat, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Kenya Chapter of the Global Peace Foundation, an international peace organization headquartered in Washington DC and incorporated in Kenya. I believe that my mission is to inspire the next generation of Kenyan leaders through exemplary servant leadership rooted in principles and values. Before that I worked as Trade Officer at the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). I’m passionate about initiatives to improve education in Kenya because as Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon that we can use to change the world.” I believe that education should be transformed to meet the expectations of the 21st Century and must be engineered to help us solve the problems of humanity.

“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”

Realizing the Kenyan Dream

I am highly influenced by lessons from the East and believe that Korea offers practical lessons in development that can help uplift African economies. I am a champion of ‘Realizing the Kenyan Dream” and Korea’s development model also known as the New Village movement that seeks to transform rural communities through the Saemul Undong philosophy.
I am passionate about GOVERNANCE and have never shied away from getting involved in looking for solutions to the problems of our country.  This is why in my quest for further leadership challenges, I vied for Member of Parliament for Ugenya constituency emerging 3rd out of 4 candidates in the by-elections held on 5th April 2019.
