1. Hon. Daniel Juma is a native of Ugenya, a jaKobiero from the PUNY clan of Ugenya. He did his primary school in Sigweng Karuoth primary School, sat his KCSE in Ukwala High School, proceeded to the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a BA in Political Science & Korean Studies & a Diploma in International Studies from the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS).

2. Hon. Daniel Juma has been on the forefront in advocating for Community Driven Development in Ugenya through the Dongruokdala Initiative solely funded by him & his friends. www.dongruokdala.org

3. Hon. Daniel Juma opened the door to the many Kenyans studying & working in Korea & in several European capitals. More than 50 youths currently study & work abroad, sending financial help back home to their villages in Ugenya. He educates many orphans in Ugenya & other parts of the country but doesn’t brag about it.

4. Hon. Daniel Juma was the 1st person to install solar street lights in the sleepy streets of Ukwala. This small initiative inspired the world bank to install street lights in Ukwala and across Ugenya.

5. Hon. Daniel Juma is a national & global figure who has been on the forefront in efforts to transform education & promote peace in Kenya especially during elections.

6. Hon. Daniel Juma doesnt have integrity issues, has never misappropriated public funds, has never forged any documents and is a Moral & Innovative Leader.

7. Hon. Daniel Juma is a humble leader. When his opponent was favoured in the quest for the ODM party ticket, opted to leave rather than cause trouble & looked for a smaller party GDDP which he is using to canvas for votes.

8. Hon. Daniel Juma is a close friend of H.E. Raila Amollo Odinga but doesn’t exploit this friendship for personal or political reasons. He has never and will never insult H.E. Raila Odinga. However he will never allow personal friendship mutate into blind loyalty or compromise the democratic ideals he believes in. To him the interest of the people of Ugenya comes 1st.
